The Dog Psychology Center has been in operation in Los Angeles for the past eight years. Since its doors opened, the Dog Psychology Center has been dedicated to the physical and psychological well-being of dogs, no matter the size, age, or breed. Led by the teachings and philosophy of its founder Cesar Millan, the Dog Psychology Center houses anywhere from twenty to sixty dogs at a given time. These dogs are brought in for issues such as severe fear, anxiety, and “red zone” aggression. Rehabilitation can take anywhere from a couple of hours to several visits depending on the severity of the case.

The Dog Psychology Center’s mission also involves the education and training of the dog owners. The result of any rehabilitation depends on the consistency of the dogs’ owners, so no rehabilitation is complete unless the owners are aware of how their own actions and state of energy contributes to a dog’s behavior. In many cases, it takes more time and effort to train the owner than the dogs themselves!
