| The Ghost Whisperer Shoot
April 2007
Well, the Dog Whisperer met the Ghost Whisperer, and it was a lot of fun! I’ve been on a few movie sets before, but this was a little different. I was an actor, at least for the day.
From the beginning, I had a great time. I had a special parking spot right in the front. I had my own trailer. It seems like everyone around had a dog, so they all knew who I was! Everyone there really made me feel like a special guest, from the person who made the food to the big executives. There was really great energy all around, no stress and no nervousness.
I didn’t have to act much, because I was playing myself! I was giving Jennifer Love Hewitt’s character advice on how to help a dog, what to do and what not to do. Jennifer and I had a really good time doing the scene, laughing and enjoying ourselves. Making the scene sound real is hard, especially since you have to do the scene over and over several times. Each time we would tweak it a bit. We were always working to improve it. I really wanted it to sound real, and I think it came out well.
It was a really fun experience. I hope you’ll check out the episode of Ghost Whisperer Friday, March 30th at 8PM EST/PST! Then tune in to Dog Whisperer on the National Geographic Channel at 9PM EST/PST for an episode that means a lot to me.
Stay calm and assertive!
