A year ago on Valentine's Day, Ilusion and I embarked on a new journey. We always had a dream to use our years of experience with dogs to reach out and help others in the field of rescue and rehabilitation. Our goal was simple: to provide technical and financial assistance to as many shelters and rescue groups as possible. We believe that all dogs deserve the chance to become balanced human companions, given the right home and rehabilitation, and be spared the tragedy of euthanasia.

With your support, our dream became a reality. The Cesar and Ilusion Millan Foundation will celebrate its One Year Anniversary on February 14. During the past year we have provided support to several organizations including: Best Friends Animal Society, Bassett Hound Rescue Networking, Inc., K9 Connection, Los Angeles Animal Services, Much Love Animal Rescue, San Diego Humane Society and SPCA, and Second Chance at Love Humane Society.

Our future plans include piloting a regional educational project designed to work closely with animal shelters and rescue groups on rehabilitation and evaluation methods, as well as the launch of an interactive education area for children on the Millan Foundation’s website.

But we cannot do it alone. We want to thank all of our loyal fans who have supported the foundation this past year and ask yout o share the love this year and help us continue to make a difference in the lives of those animals that are left abandoned or abused.
