 Heeere's Cesar! Late Show announcer Ed McMahon and his wife Pam have seven dogs, but they didn't know that taking in Wheaton Terrier Gus would push them over the edge. Gus's sweet demeanor is a wolf in sheep's clothing, because they never know when he is going to bite. He has developed some severe aggression toward Ed's assistants and any guests that come to call. Will Cesar be able to assist McMahon's assistants in controlling Gus's aggression?
Also in the November 2nd episode, meet the Swanson family. In April 2005, Nancy was walking beagle Abbey when the neighbors' large dog Sam got loose and came straight for Abbey. Sam had his mouth around her neck and pinned her to the ground. Everyone was frantic. After Sam's owner finally got control of the dog and took him back home, Abbey was left shaking in Nancy's arms. Now the traumatized beagle will go just as far as the next door neighbor's yard, but that's the limit. She stops dead in her tracks, pulls back until she gets free of her collar, and runs straight back home. Can Cesar help the Swansons with their homebound hound?

 Some of us who travel during the holiday season may be lucky enough to bring our canine companions along for the ride, but for others, this just isn't possible. Finding a good substitute pack can be tough. Here are a few tips for finding the right kennel, shelter, vet's office, doggie day care, or professional dog-sitters for your pet.
Get recommendations. Ask friends, neighbors, co-workers, vets, groomers, trainers, or other dog professionals you trust. Find two or three facilities that meet your requirements and investigate further.
Visit. Ask to see all the places where your dog will be spending time. Is the facility clean? Does the staff seem competent and compassionate? If you like what you see, set aside a few more hours to be a silent observer and get a sense of their philosophy...

| Ask the Vet: Chew Toys and Bones |
 I have a 9 month old Chocolate Labrador named "Choco." He stays outside 24/7 and tends to tear up things in his pen due to teething and probably boredom. I started to give him rawhide bones to help his teething and to keep him from chewing up his dog house and other things. Also, I keep giving him different toys as well. I was told by a friend that rawhide bones aren't good for them, that it's hard for them to digest. Is this true? If so, what else can I do to keep him from tearing up everything while we are at work?
