Sneak Peek: August Premiere Episodes

On August 29th, Noelle's Doberman/Lab mix Caesar and pit bull Squatty have become unmanageable on the walk since the tragic passing of her husband Danny Deigan. Between Caesar's nightmare walks and Squatty's separation anxiety when Caesar is away, Noelle is reaching the end of her rope. Can our Cesar teach her Caesar a thing or two about balance and soothe Squatty's troubled nerves?

Then, Police dispatcher and 911 operator Jeanne Wilson and her husband David, a Lieutenant with the Ventura Police, are putting out an all points bulletin for assistance with their Hawaiian hurricane, Italian Greyhound Hula. Hula's aggression toward David and their 12-year-old son Brandon is becoming a source of frustration in the house, and David is ready to send Hula packing. Cesar arrives to clear the air and help the Wilson family operate as a better pack. Will Cesar wash away Hula's aggression, or will he send Jeanne into a tropical depression?

Ask Cesar: Dog Won't Leave The Yard

"We have a 13 week-old Springer, and it is impossible to take him for a walk. He will not leave the yard. My husband just tried to walk him, and the puppy was so upset that he threw up! Please help. My husband eventually wants him to be a bird dog!"

Ask The Vet: Staph Infection Contagious To Humans?

"I recently adopted a male Westie mix from a local shelter. As suggested, I took him to my vet just to make sure he was healthy. Magnum had a rash on his back leg, and after careful examination, the vet concluded that he had a Staph infection. She gave me some antibiotics and ointment to treat him.

I know that humans can spread Staph infections, but can I get it from my dog? Can my other dogs get it from him?"

Feature: Summer Activities

Summer is the perfect time of year to focus on the "Exercise" part of the fulfillment formula! Try new activities, visit a new location, and enjoy the sunshine and your dog's companionship.

No matter what physical activity you engage in, it is important to watch for signs of dehydration: lethargy, sunken or bloodshot eyes, dry gums, increased heart rate, paleness, and loss of skin elasticity. Make sure your dog has access to clean, fresh water at all times!
