| 100th Episode and Other September Premieres |
On September 5th, Justin Ternes and Monica Hoover's battling pit bulls, Sandi and Trinity, are driving the once happy family to extremes to keep them separated. Can Cesar bring peace to this not-so-civil war? And on September 12th, Part 2 of Canine 911: Cesar is called in to help Anita Brandenburg (who suffers from Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease) relieve her service dog Beau of his fear of the bus - her only means of transportation. Also in this episode: Jeff and Karen have different opinions regarding discipline in the lives of their four Maltese, and the disparity is disrupting their family dynamic. Can Cesar mediate this marital rift between Jeff, Karen, and their four great white terrors?
Then, on September 19th, a special event: the Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan 100th episode spectacular! Participants from more than 200 stories featured on Dog Whisperer (and one other VERY special guest!) parade down the red carpet amidst the backdrop of agility runs and a doggie talent show to celebrate with Cesar and his wife Ilusion. It's an unprecedented celebration of pack leaders and balanced dogs, and you're invited!

| Ask Cesar: How To Handle Corrections At The Dog Park |
I follow your advice on being a strong pack leader at the dog park. On the rare occasions that I take my dogs to the dog park, I notice humans not applying discipline if their dogs get in a fight (or potential fight). If I apply discipline to one of my dogs, but the other human doesn't, that makes it look like it was totally my fault. I've never said anything to the other person, but it seems unfair that my dog gets a correction or consequence, and the other dog doesn't. That's one reason why I don't go to the dog park often, and when I do, I monitor my dogs closely to prevent problems. We try to find responsible owners with their dogs to hang around with. A few weeks ago, I prevented a fight by doing a body block and faced the offending dog and firmly said, "Hey!" and the other dog backed off. That owner only scolded her dog as we walked away.
Would you correct/discipline both dogs if the other owner is being passive or ineffective at that moment, or just deal with your own dog?

We adopted two pups from our local shelter, had them for three days, and ended up having them put down because of parvo. They apparently had the virus when we adopted them. We weren't told they were exposed or possibly had the virus. Very disheartening.
We truly want pups, but don't know how long we have to wait before we can adopt. We cleaned the indoors thoroughly (steam cleaned the entire house) and have a nice, clean yard. Please let us know. We are ready to raise another family. Our kids are grown and gone. We have lots of love and time for raising pups.

Fans of the show will no doubt remember the seemingly hopeless but ultimately heartwarming story of Apollo the Rottweiler. Rescued from an unknown past and cared for by selfless young shelter volunteer Bree Justice, Apollo's panicky human aggression (directed specifically toward adult males) made him a risky candidate for permanent adoption and eventually landed him on death row.
Down to the wire and desperate for a solution, representatives from the Orange County Humane Society pleaded his case before Dog Whisperer producers at an open audition at PETCO - and won the condemned Rottie a stay of execution!

Meet the Producers of Dog Whisperer Sheila Emery and Kay Sumner at a PETCO near you! Be prepared to describe your dog's problem behavior. Dogs are welcome, but your dog does not need to attend to be considered. A video of your dog's behavior must be submitted to be chosen for the show. We are happy to see video footage of aggressive dogs, but for safety reasons, we ask that you leave them at home.
