| Just a note of thank you. I am Yosef, a well-known scrimshaw artist (if I do say so myself!) I was informed last January that I would have to go in for open heart surgery. Of course, this is never good news.
I enjoy watching your shows. Being an artist myself, I see a lot of art in what you do. I decided to take your advice and be calm and submissive. I went into the hospital with that attitude and with every intention of being the best and most cooperative patient that I could be. The surgery went remarkably well; I was out of the hospital in 4 days. It is now my 3rd month anniversary and I am still doing extremely well. In fact I am back at the studio working full time. Being 72 years young, I am very happy with the outcome.
I want to thank you for allowing me to use that calm submissive attitude to help me through what could have been a bad time of my life.
From one artist to another, “Keep up the good work.” Remember your philosophy works for humans as well as animals.
